Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson was the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the American doctor and Thelma B. Burnell Henson. Michele Carey, or Michele Lee Henson, was first born February 26, 1942, in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. As a teenager, she was a master at piano. At the age of thirteen she won a contest at the Chicago Music Festival. Her family settled in Fort Collins in Colorado, after which she graduated from high school education through Fort Collins High School in 1960. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue better career opportunities. She began her career in modeling when she was signed by the Powers Agency, an elite modeling agency. Acting was her passion and she attracted Hollywood producers while modeling. She debuted on television in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Michele who happened to be one of the renowned American entertainers started her profession as a model. She worked with the Powers agency before eventually venturing into acting, in 1964, in the television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Her performance on El Dorado 1966 as the protagonist, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought greater attention to her. Her acting roles during the 1970s and 1960s made her a prominent actress.
